Responsible use

Vantage is a research tool. It shows what the market says, what the recorded statistics show, with the evidence attached. It does not tell you what to do with any of that.

This is a working draft written by the people who build Vantage. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it will be before the alpha opens to anyone outside the founding cohort.

What this is not

Vantage does not sell picks, does not claim an edge on your behalf, and does not take a position on any market. Nothing on any page is a recommendation to place a wager.

Historical averages and over-line rates describe past games. They do not give the probability of a future result.

Read the sample and capture time

Statistics name their season, sample, and filters. Missing values stay unavailable, and small samples need context.

Sportsbook prices show when they were captured. Quotes may have changed since that time.

Where betting is involved

Sports betting is legal in some jurisdictions and not others, and the rules differ by where you are. Vantage does not check, and it is on you to know what applies where you live.

If betting has stopped being something you choose freely, stop and get help. In the United States, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-522-4700, free and confidential, twenty-four hours a day.
